How did it all begin, you ask?
Addwater began as a small marketing firm in Palo Alto, CA specializing in web design, social media and direct marketing for small and mid-sized businesses. Always attempting to convince our clients of the importance of blogging and engaging with customers on social media, we decided to create something just for them on the incredibly easy Tumblr blogging platform.
Well that idea (nurtured by our newfound love for Tumblr) became a new idea altogether: We decided we wanted to provide tools for anyone – not just businesses – to create their very own themes, and even “websites” on Tumblr.
Since the inception of this idea, we’ve designed some stylish themes, created widgets (some which have never been created before), and have been hard at work completing our theme-builder and website-creator tools.
