Spicer Bags has made fashionable yet highly functional tote, shoulder, hand, and overnight bags for over 15 years. Along the way, the brand evolved from a traditional fabric and leather line of products to more progressive and environmentally sensitive materials, including cork, bamboo, and faux leathers made with recycled plastics.

At each stage, Addwater collaborated on updating its brand and marketing strategy, updating the design of its identity, marketing materials, online stores, and marketing extension into its flagship brick-and-mortar (literally) store in San Francisco.

Vode Lighting

Vode designs and makes uniquely adaptive architectural lighting systems. Their line lighting can be found in office spaces from the world's most advanced tech companies to the most respected museums and universities. 

When Vode began its migration from thin fluorescent tube lighting to strips of LED components, they wanted fresh thinking to help them communicate and promote the benefits of more efficient LED lighting and their commitment to shifting entirely to highly efficient lighting technologies.

Addwater led strategy meetings with the leadership team that resulted in evolved strategic thinking about what Vode stood for and how it would present its mission and changing product line in the architectural world. Ultimately Addwater become deeply integrated into Vode's marketing and sales efforts touching almost every effort, which included the adoption of inbound marketing with HubSpot.

AutoVision

Launched in 2020, AutoVision is on a mission to modernize independent and franchise auto dealership operations using big data to deliver new depths of insight into what's going on in the automobile marketplace, especially around car valuations.

In late 2022 the founders decided it was time to completely redesign their website to position them as an industry thought leader and provider of immediate and bankable benefits to their growing base of customers.

Addwater collaborated with the very hands-on leadership at AutoVision to update their positioning and present the full capability set of their SaaS suite.

An introduction to HubSpot's CRM and Marketing Hub is now in the process of being deployed across their marketing and sales efforts.

Fulcrum Networks was founded in 2022 by an experienced cybersecurity team specifically to address the persistent weaknesses found at the intersection of security solutions and cross-organization deployment, especially for organizations with many physical locations.

Being a boot-strapped start-up, an initial positioning, strategy, business story, and suite of services need to be developed and described for prospective customers to qualify for partner relationships with the most respected networking and cybersecurity platforms.

Moving quickly was essential, and Addwater worked closely with the founder to develop Fulcrum's unique positioning and messaging for deployment in their website and sales pitches.

Avolved was founded to help commercial plant growers know what their plants know. Its system captures accurate data and visualizes key factors in plant optimization for both crop quality and production efficiency.

The Space Place

The Space Place is a commercial real estate broker exclusively representing Class A office tenants who want to improve their office spaces and the terms of their leases without the usually painful search and negotiation hassles.

For over 20 years, The Space Place provided strategic and tactical thinking in addition to its broker service to tenants, often start-ups in a high-priced market. Landlords generally held the cards in negotiations. The Space Place developed a unique and very effective methodology for leveling the playing field for tenants and wanted to promote its unique "advocate approach".

For over five years Addwater worked with the founder to update his messaging, marketing strategy, identity, website, and related marketing materials.
